A Message from Felix:
Felix drew a symmetrical butterfly and wrote a new fact he learned about ladybugs. He did so many math questions using ladybugs.
A Message from George:
George is having a great time tracing his alphabet and letters to 100. He loves math on abcmouse and, among other things, has learned to count backwards from 20! He can also put the letters of the alphabet in order.
A Message from Theo:
Last week we tried bubble painting! It was really messy fun. We used one of the pages to write an invitation to a teddy bear picnic. We made salmon because bears like salmon!
We went out to the park a lot. I showed Matilda how to draw with chalk. I wrote the whole alphabet. One day it rained and we drew in the puddles. It made the chalk go runny and we could spread it using sticks like paintbrushes.
Hope everyone is well!
A Message from Emma:
A Message from Poppy:
Poppy is very excited to see her sunflowers are growing! She invented a new instrument this week, a harp guitar!
Have a good next week!
Megan and Poppy
A Message from Jonah:
We all hope you had a great week. Jonah has been mixing his life with equal amounts of work, rest, and play. When he’s not doing school assignments he’s practicing how to ride a scooter, or making art. Jonah’s been using his Dad’s studio at the Museum of Contemporary Art to make ink and acrylic paintings.
Jonah enjoyed many of your weekly Activities. He especially enjoyed learning about the Life Cycle of a Chick, and the Teddy Bear Picnic STEM assignment.
Stay safe and be well.
Jonah, Chris, Kara, and Miles (dog)
Sharing Our Stories
During distanced learning our class wanted to feel connected to each other. For this reason, we set up this page on our website. Here the students shared their stories with one another! Parent permission was received to post all pictures. This year, we will be using this page to show weekly student work.
